The Neue Bühne Villach is the leading contemporary theatre of the city of Villach in Carinthia. With a committed ensemble and a programme ranging from modern classics to premieres, it offers ambitious drama in an intimate setting. As an artistically independent stage, it focuses on contemporary material and a close relationship with its audience. Located in Carinthia's second-largest city, the Neue Bühne makes an important contribution to the region's cultural diversity and complements the offering of nearby Klagenfurt with a distinctive, sharply profiled theatrical voice.
