The Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche is an extraordinary venue in a former Gothic Minorite church in the Stein district of Krems. The deconsecrated church space, with its medieval frescoes and special acoustics, forms an impressive setting for concerts and festivals. It hosts, among others, the programmes of renowned festivals such as Imago Dei and Glatt&Verkehrt, which bring early music, world music and contemporary sounds into a compelling dialogue. As a place where historic architecture meets current music-making, the Klangraum is a cultural jewel of the Wachau.
