Die Käs – Kabarett in der City is a cabaret theatre on the Naxos site in Frankfurt's Ostend. It became known as Germany's first German-Turkish cabaret: the Turkish-born cabaret artist Şinasi Dikmen wrote and performed pointed, polemical programmes such as "Du sollst nicht türken" here, making "German cabaret by Turkish hands" an institution. Seating around 199, the house offers sophisticated, intelligent and political entertainment – its own productions as well as guest performances by well-known cabaret artists. With its intercultural perspective and sharp wit, Die Käs is a special place in Frankfurt's small-stage scene.
