The Komödie am Kurfürstendamm is a well-known private theatre in Berlin and was located, together with the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, in the Ku'damm-Karree on the Kurfürstendamm until 2018. Both stages were demolished in 2018. The theatre operation moved the same year into the Schiller Theater and operated there under the name Komödie am Kurfürstendamm im Schiller Theater. From March 2023 to May 2025 the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm used the Theater am Potsdamer Platz as a transitional venue. Since June 2025 the Ernst-Reuter-Saal at the Reinickendorf town hall has been the main venue of the Komödie, until the construction work on the Kurfürstendamm for the new Komödie is completed. Marlene Dietrich began her career at the house in the 1920s, one of many stars who passed through its doors.
The Theater am Kurfürstendamm is among the most tradition-rich boulevard theatres in Germany — since 1921 cultivated entertainment theatre with prominent casts has been performed here continuously.
