Pantheon Theatre

The Pantheon Theater in Bonn is one of the best-known small-art and cabaret stages in the Rhineland. Since 1989 it has offered political cabaret, comedy, music, and chanson and has established itself as a fixture of the German small-art scene. The house is located in the former government quarter of the federal capital, in the immediate vicinity of the old Federal Chancellery, and always used this political neighbourhood for biting satire. Over the years the Pantheon became a springboard for numerous artists who later achieved nationwide fame — many stood on this stage at the start of their careers. With its own small-art prize and a dense programme of touring guest performances and in-house productions, it shapes the satirical life of the region.
