Toihaus Theater

The Toihaus Theater is one of Salzburg's most distinctive independent stages and a laboratory for interdisciplinary, experimental art. At the centre of its work is a theatre that interweaves movement, music, language and visual art and deliberately moves beyond conventional narrative forms. The house works with an international network of artists and develops its own, often poetic and sensual productions – including theatre for very young audiences. With its uncompromising artistic ambition, the Toihaus enriches the Salzburg scene with an exploratory, contemporary voice.
