Opera Saratoga, founded in 1962 as the Lake George Opera Festival, is an opera company in Saratoga Springs, New York. Its summer season traditionally takes place in the Spa Little Theater in Saratoga Spa State Park. The company is known for a varied programme of popular repertoire operas, operetta, rarely heard works and occasional premieres, as well as for its programme supporting young singers. In a region shaped by festivals and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Opera Saratoga is the fixed point of reference for the art form.
