Opera San Antonio was founded in 2014 and is the professional opera company of the Texas metropolis of San Antonio. It performs in the acoustically acclaimed Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on the San Antonio River. As a young, ambitious company it quickly built a reputation for high-quality, internationally cast productions, favouring a concentrated season of a few carefully prepared operas. In one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, Opera San Antonio is the central point of reference for professional music theatre.
