The MuTh is the concert hall of the Vienna Boys' Choir, set on the edge of the Baroque Augarten in the second district. Opened in 2012, the modern hall has excellent acoustics and seats around 400 guests. Its name combines "Musik" and "Theater" and stands for a broad programme of choral concerts, chamber music, song recitals, children's music theatre and guest performances. At its heart are the world-famous Vienna Boys' Choir, who have found their home here. As a fine, intimate concert venue, the MuTh adds its own youthfully fresh note to Vienna's grand musical landscape.
