The Kasematten are an atmospheric open-air stage on the Graz Schlossberg, high above the old town. In the historic vaults and wall remains of the former fortress, a unique summer venue with a retractable roof comes to life. Here concerts, musicals, opera and theatre performances and cabaret take place before the impressive backdrop of the old fortifications. The view over the rooftops of Graz and the special atmosphere of the Schlossberg make every evening an experience. As a popular summer venue, the Schlossbergbühne Kasematten adds a charming open-air location to Graz's cultural offerings.
