Biography
William Tuckett is a British choreographer and former dancer at the Royal Ballet, among the most distinguished contemporary dance creators in Great Britain. His choreographies are performed by the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, and international companies. Tuckett's works combine classical ballet technique with contemporary movement language and a sense for narrative dance theatre. Characteristic is an emotionally dense, often humorous visual language that newly opens up fairy tales, myths, and literary material for the stage.
