Biography
Nis-Momme Stockmann, born 1981 on Föhr, is among the most interesting younger voices of German theatre. He studied scenic writing at the University of the Arts Berlin and won in 2009 with Der Mann der die Welt aß the Stückemarkt of the Berlin Theatertreffen. His dramas combine familial confinement with social uncertainty and were premiered at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, Thalia Theater Hamburg, and numerous other houses. Stockmann also writes prose and screenplays.
