lynn t. musiol is a German playwright among the most important voices of young queer stage literature. Her play LECKEN 3000 won the Retzhofer Drama Prize in 2025 — one of the most important awards for emerging playwrights in the German-speaking region. Her work thematises violence in queer relationships with unfeigned directness and linguistic sharpness, filling a noticeable gap in the German-language theatre repertoire. musiol's writing style — consistent lower-case, abrupt language shifts, bodily imagery — refuses conventional drama and finds its own, urgently pulsating theatrical voice. Her plays are increasingly being discovered at independent stages and in city theatre programmes.
