Biography
Laura Naumann is a German playwright among the young voices of German-language theatre literature. Her plays are performed at renowned stages such as the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Schauspiel Leipzig, and the Maxim Gorki Theater. Naumann works with a sharp, often humorous language and thematises the lifeworld of young adults in the twenty-first century: identity search, societal expectations, relationships in a digitalised world. Her works have been nominated multiple times for German playwright prizes.
