Biography
Ken Krimstein is an American cartoonist, author, and stage adaptor whose graphic novels open intellectual history to a broad audience. His work The Three Escapes of Hannah Arendt (2018) became an international bestseller — a biographical graphic novel about the German-Jewish philosopher that links her life stations Berlin, Paris, and New York with political theory. Krimstein also works as a cartoonist for The New Yorker and is among the most distinguished voices of American non-fiction comics. Stage adaptations of his works are performed at German and international theatres.
