Biography
German composer and one of the most important representatives of New Music. As pioneer of electronic music and serial composition, he shaped the avant-garde of the twentieth century. His opera cycle Licht (1977-2003), consisting of seven operas for the days of the week, is one of the most monumental works in music history.
