Biography
John Du Prez (born 1946) is a British composer and trumpeter, known above all as a film composer. He collaborated several times with Monty Python, including on the music for Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life. Together with Eric Idle he composed the music for the musical Spamalot (2005). Du Prez combines accomplished orchestral film scoring with a comic sensibility, providing the musical foundation for Idle's anarchic stage comedy.
