Biography
Harry Warren (1893–1981), born Salvatore Antonio Guaragna in Brooklyn, was one of America's most successful Hollywood songwriters. The son of Italian immigrants, he wrote more than 800 songs and shaped the film musical of the 1930s and 1940s. With hits such as Lullaby of Broadway, Chattanooga Choo Choo, and We're in the Money he won three Academy Awards.
