Biography
Bob Gaudio (born 1942) is an American songwriter, keyboardist, and founding member of the pop band The Four Seasons. As the group's chief composer he wrote their biggest hits, such as Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, and Can't Take My Eyes Off You. The jukebox musical Jersey Boys (2005) tells the story of the Four Seasons and is built entirely on his songbook; it won the Tony Award for Best Musical. Gaudio's songs embody the characteristic falsetto sound of 1960s American pop.
