Biography
Ingrid Lausund was born in 1965 in Ingolstadt. From 2000 to 2005 she was resident playwright and director at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg while also directing at Schauspiel Köln; since 2005 she has worked freelance as a writer and director. Several of her plays premiered there and elsewhere and were subsequently staged widely. Under the pseudonym Mizzi Meyer she wrote numerous screenplays for the television series "Der Tatortreiniger", earning her the Grimme Award in 2012 and 2013 and the German Television Award in 2019. In 2025 she received the Ödön von Horváth Prize for her work as a playwright, screenwriter and director.
