Biography
Franck Duarte trained as an actor at the Cours Périmony in Paris and took further courses in comedy, musical theatre and directing; he also holds a master's degree in publishing and worked for a time in the editorial departments of the publishers Zulma and Fayard. He works as a writer, actor, director and leader of theatre workshops. His crime comedy “Petits crimes entre amis”, in which he also performed, ran for more than 700 performances at the Théâtre La Boussole in Paris; it was followed there in 2023 by “Petits crimes entre amants”, which, translated by René Heinersdorff as “Kleine Verbrechen unter Liebenden”, had its German-language premiere in Hamburg in 2026. He has also written the comedy “Les Femmes pardonnent mais n'oublient jamais”, plays about teenagers and parents such as “Ados sur TikTok, Parents qui déblok” and, with Clément Pouillot, family shows such as “Aladin, le spectacle musical”.
